Super Discovery 3D Printer
The first model was custom designed and manufactured for Navantia, within the scope of its 3D Cabins project, as a solution to its requirement of a large format additive manufacturing equipment.
The equipment does not use filaments or powdered raw materials, but instead manufactures the pieces using an innovative technology of direct pellet extrusion.
This technology makes it possible, with significant cost savings, to directly extrude any thermoplastic material present on the market (ABS, ASA, PET, PP, PA6, PEEK MEDICAL, 3D850, PVA, TPU-FLEX, HIPS, PPSU, FIREPROOF, etc.) without losing any of its qualities.
It incorporates an automatic pellet feeder that allows unlimited use of material to manufacture parts of any weight, volume or complexity in industry 4.0.
The standard printing volume is 1500 x 2500 x 1000 mm, but it can be custom designed and manufactured to meet any requirement of our industrial customers.
With its fully closed chamber and warm bed (up to 150º), the printer works with the most demanding materials.
Super Discovery 3D Printer is a pioneering equipment that is based on a new technology of direct extrusion of pellets. Its large volume and high printing speed increase production capacity with a significant reduction in costs. Direct evolution of the Discovery 3D Printer, it has been developed as a solution to the need of industry 4.0 to be able to manufacture large format pieces with last generation thermoplastics. The Super Discovery 3D Printer works by directly extruding the pellets, which lowers the manufacturing cost and makes it possible to increase production. We can make a special tailor-made manufacturing project, oriented to the manufacture of large format pieces for large industry 4.0.
