WE REVIEW WHAT THE ADIBUQUE PROJECT MEANT FOR THE GREAT INDUSTRY 4.0.

Last year, Navantia presented its ABIDUQUE project. This aims to apply the technology of large format 3D printing to produce a set of elements selected for the naval sector, final and functional pieces that are installed on ships.

Our Discovery 3D Printer and Super Discovery 3D Printer printers play an important role in this project. Thanks to its unique characteristics of size, quality and cost per piece.

ADIBUQUE improves the capacity of Navantia and in general of the naval industry as a whole for the manufacture of complex elements contributing reduction of the manufacturing term, lower labor costs in the manufacturing process, less work in machining and painting treatments, increase in productivity, cost savings in materials, decrease in the time of collection of parts, increase in energy efficiency of the manufacturing process and increase in product quality, modernization of the production process, etc.

This project allows Navantia to take the lead in the naval sector, improving its competitiveness and capacity for innovation, thanks to the Industry 4.0 revolution

Shortly the additive manufacturing technology will allow many pieces to be manufactured to measure and at the moment, avoiding the need of third companies, which will significantly improve production times and associated costs.

Our Discovery have demonstrated, in this project and in others, that they are printers adapted to the real needs of the large industry 4.0, becoming a great reference in the sector.
